EQUIPPING At TBC we are committed to equipping men and women with the Word of God so that God's people can be prepared to serve and the body of Christ can be built up.

"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Here are some of the opportunities:

ADULT BIBLE CLASSES

The ABC's at TBC meet most Sundays during the second hour (11:00 a.m.-Noon) and provide Bible teaching on various Old Testament and New Testament Books and life-related teaching on marriage, the family, and parenting in different classes. Some classes are specifically targeted such as our young couples and college age classes, while others are electives that are open to anyone.

SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT CLASSES
We have designed three classes to specifically help further your spiritual growth. Each of these classes meets in a 2-3 hour format.

TBC 101 CLASS - Discovering Church Membership

This 2-hour class is the basic introduction to Tomball Bible Church. Since we have people in our midst from many different church backgrounds, this class was designed to explain clearly who and what our church is. You will discover:

What we share in common
What a Bible church is
Why our church exists
What our church believes
Our vision and strategy
How you can fit into the life of TBC

This is offered 5-6 times a year, usually on a Sunday afternoon or Tuesday evening.

TBC 201 CLASS - Discovering Spiritual Maturity

During this class we will focus on five basic habits Christians need to develop in their movement towards spiritual maturity. This class will help you better understand and develop these five habits:

Time with God
Bible
Prayer
Giving
Fellowship

We believe this class will:

Equip you with the skills you need to begin these habits
Explain the tools you need to continue these habits

This is a 3-hour class and is offered four times a year, usually on a Sunday afternoon or Tuesday evening.

TBC 301 CLASS - Discovering My Ministry

The primary reason for this class is for you to DISCOVER God's purpose for your life-your part-and FULFILL it by doing ministry.

THEREFORE, our goal for this class is to help you discover how you are 'shaped' and to challenge you to find a ministry based on what we discover in this class.

The backbone of this workshop is based on the following truth:

Your ministry will be determined by your makeup-your S.H.A.P.E.

What God made you to BE determines what He intends for you to DO. You will discover the purpose you were created for when you understand the kind of person you are. This is the secret of knowing God's will for your life!

God is consistent in His plan for each of our lives. He would not give us inborn talents and temperaments, spiritual gifts, and all sorts of life experiences and then not want to use them. He has created us to be used!

This is a 3-hour class (that requires some work in advance) and is offered 2-3 times a year, usually on a Sunday afternoon or Tuesday evening.
