Our Heart

One of our key pursuits is connecting. This means developing close relationships with other Christians who challenge and encourage us as we follow Jesus. With all of the technology in our world, we are more connected than ever, but in a very real sense, we are disconnected.

We are surrounded by people all the time, but rarely do we truly connect with another person. We believe that this disconnected experience is less than God’s ideal for His children. When God reconciled us to Himself, He also connected us to each other for the purpose of fellowship (1 John 1:3).

The heart of the Christian faith is seen in loving God and loving others (Matthew 22:37-40). This is the definition of being connected. We express love for others as we get to know them, pray for them, and serve them.
