Our Heart

At Tomball Bible Church, we are convinced that serving God is a crucial part of spiritual growth. 1 Peter 4:10 says that “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”

Reasons We Serve

The first and most important reason to serve is simply that Jesus modeled this for us in His life and ministry (Mark 10:45). We desire to live as Jesus did, so we serve others. We also believe that one of the reasons God brought us into a relationship with Him was to serve others in the name of Jesus, and that a key role of God in our lives is to enable us to love others well through service (Ephesians 2:10). Our hope is that our service, however small it may seem, will help to build up others as well as the Church, which is the Body of Christ (Ephesians 4:10).

Who We Serve

Ultimately, it is Jesus Christ we are serving through our actions, activities, and projects. So, we encourage everyone to take the opportunity to get involved in ways that serve the body of Christ, His Church.

How to Serve

To put it simply, if you see a need, jump in and serve.  We also recognize that it may be hard to find the place you fit the best. Therefore, we offer the opportunity to discover your spiritual gifts and to see how you can use them through our S.H.A.P.E. class.
